I have an Honours degree in Health Sciences and Nutritional Therapy from the University of Westminster.  Whilst training in the innovative Westminster Polyclinic for Integrative Health I gained valuable experience treating adults and children with conditions such as digestive disorders, chronic autoimmune illness, behavioural problems as well as menopause and hormone related conditions.

I am passionate about food and qualified as a Cordon Bleu Cook in1981. Having taught cookery and catered for 22 years prior to training as a nutritionist, I am able to provide practical information/recipes on how to feed individuals and families in the most nutritious, economical and enjoyable ways.

I am keen to educate children on the importance of a healthy diet and believe it is vital to make them aware of how junk and processed food can damage their health.  I enjoy presenting in schools, where I give interactive presentations/workshops, so that children are made aware of what they are eating enabling them to make informed decisions in the future.

As well as giving individual consultations for chronic complaints and digestive disorders, I also advise on sports nutrition for optimum performance. My voluntary work includes nutritional advisor to Fair Havens, a hospice for residential and day care respite for cancer and HIV patients. I also write regular articles on health and nutrition for various publications.

To compliment my knowledge and comply with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements, I attend seminars and lectures to learn about future developments in nutrition and the latest scientific, evidence-based research.
